As my quest for better looking skin continues, I had the opportunity to try a serum that is natural, organic and packs a huge punch of moisturization...

Amara Organics are a small, family owned business that brings to you skincare containing carefully chosen natural and organic ingredients.  Their line has 5 products, for skin and eye areas, with ingredients ranging from vitamins C and E, hyaluronic acid, fruit stem cells, peptides and more.  What I have for you today is the Amara Organics Hyaluronic Acid Serum with vitamins C and E.

Amara Organics Hyaluronic Acid Serum is a clear, semi viscous liquid contained in a clear glass bottle.  You get 1 fl. oz/30ml. of liquid product.  This serum retails for $17.95 USD.

Hyaluronic Acid is known to be a powerful hydrator in products.  In this serum, coupled with vitamins C and E and other essentials, it becomes a super boost of hydration for plumper, moisturized skin.

This lightweight serum quickly absorbed into my skin, leaving it soft, cool and super plump!  I did not experience any stickiness afterwards which made for other skincare and makeup applications issue free.  There is a slight herbal scent to the serum that quickly dissipates after application.  I have been using this for about a month and I wake up to softer skin, a more clearer complexion, and a hydrated look.  I have only recently brought it down to my neck, followed by my neck cream to see if I can improve the area there.  A post with photos of before and afters will come soon.  What I really love about this serum is just how much light hydration is has brought into my skin.  I am a habitual skin treatment user, everything from masks to peels to scrubs, and this serum has allowed for those treatments to go to work, but not dry me out as others have done in the past.  Perfect summer hydration for those looking for moisture but not the added heavy feel of a cream.

Aside from Vitamins C & E, it comes packed with Hyaluronic Acid for ultimate moisturization.  What does this mean for you?  Here is the amazing list of studied results...

This serum is lightweight and spreads easily on the skin and sinks in quickly.  It plays well with other facial products and did not leave a residue on my skin.  This does have a very herbally scent to it, which was a bit odd, it being a vitamin c serum, and those that are scented, tend to run on the citrusy side.  The scent is quite noticeable but wears down minutes after wear.  Super gentle, did not find any irritation anywhere on my skin, especially around the eye area.

From the photo above, Amara Organics Vitamin C Serum is one of the lightest I have ever used!  This will be perfect in the summer when I want moisture, but none of the added heaviness that potent moisturizers usually have.

I am very pleased with how well this plays with my skin and my current routine.  Dries quickly so I can slap this on and go about my day!  I have a an overall glow that is really nice and just an all around softness that I attribute to the combination of vitamin C and hyaluronic acid.

Pura d'or Argan Oil Premium Organic Shampoo

At first use, the scent of this is extremely herbal.  Those who do not like that scent or are sensitive to strong scents may not like this shampoo as it is potent.  The shampoo itself is lightweight, but does not weigh hair down.  It washes cleanly.  It does suds up, but not overly so and rinses out nicely.  I did not experience any residue whatsoever.

Pura d'or argan oil premium organic conditioner

The scent of this conditioner is heaven sent!!!!!!!!!  Lavender Vanilla lends this conditioner a very calming, soothing, warm scent experience.  This conditioner is emollient and heavy on the hair, but rinses clean and leaves hair soft.  Scent does linger but fades after a day or so.  Gentle and did not leave any extra residue on my hair.

Using both of these together had my hair feeling really soft and manageable.  I was using less of my other products such as shine sprays, hair creams to weigh my hair down as it likes to fly around everywhere.  I am right now suffering from dry hair due to burns from a new styling tool, so I am looking forward to seeing how this will help repair my hair again.

Pura d'or Body, Hair and Face Treatment Oil

I am venturing into oils for hydration now as I feel them to be the best way of delivering intense moisture where you need them.  I also find them to be extremely healing. Pura d'or's offering is 100% cold pressed argan oil ready to use.  A great moisturizer on its own, it can be added to your favorite creams, lotions, shampoos, conditioners, facial products, anything! It is completely versatile and since it is gentle, can be used safely on the body.  Now that we are transitioning to warmer weather, I am looking forward to using this as I have before, legs, arms and feet for super hydrated looking and feeling skin!

This lightweight moisturizer felt extremely luxurious on my skin.  Unscented, this product easily soaked into my skin, leaving behind super soft skin.  The cream moisturizes amazingly without being heavy on the skin.  Blended onto the skin beautifully and left me with  semi-matte, bright skin!

Intensive Youth Eye Gel

The Intensive Youth Eye Gel is like a spa day in a bottle.  This pump style bottle comes with .5 oz/15ml of thick, gel goodness.  This retails for $27.89 USD.  "Intensive Youth Eye Gel provides intensive care to the eye area and helps reduce dark circles, wrinkles, puffiness, and sagging skin.  This powerful blend increases elasticity and enhances the tone of your skin." - Radha Beauty.  The eye gel is a thick formula, so it really grabs onto the eye area and coats it in skin loving ingredients.  Once worked into the skin, it feels cool, and completely softened.  This has a very subtle cucumber scent that fades very quickly once on the skin.

This Vitamin C serum comes in push button bottle and contains 1 fl./30ml worth of liquid product.  It retails for $22.89 USD.  "This vitamin c serum is thin and highly effective.  It will help fade sun spots and discoloration, refine skin texture, reduce wrinkle formation and minimize existing wrinkles." - Radha Beauty.  The serum contains 20% vitamin c for a potent treatment.  It also contains amino acids, vitamin e and hyaluronic acid for ultimate hydration and skin softening duties! Vitamin C serum is extremely thin, so you use very little and does soak into the skin nicely.  You are left glowing. I can see this lasting a long time. I will say that this has a rather peculiar scent.

Overall, I am happy with how soft my skin has become.  I am looking forward to see how my skin is in 2 months.  This regime was used for just over 2 weeks and the biggest, most discernable difference was how soft my skin was. The tone of my skin looks more even than it did previous to starting this regime.  I also look hydrated and have noticed a slight change in skin texture. Will definitely check in after a couple more weeks to see what other changes have taken place.  I am loving how my skin is feeling!

Apothecary Extracts TTO Hand Scrub

In the above photo, I made the replenishing Tea Tree Oil Body Scrub.  I had to substitute the brown sugar for salt, but it worked nicely.  It moisturized without being overly oily, and gave my hands and feet a nice tingly sensation that was pleasing.  Please note that when you mix the TTO with other oils, the scent, still apparent, becomes more manageable.

This scrub has been a godsend with the fall air turning dry and cold!  Really moisturizing and exfoliating.

Apothecary Extracts TTO Steam Facial

I love at home facials, and now with the TTO, I can have one that benefits my skin while I'm broken out.  Along with the TTO, a couple other essential oils, hot water and a towel, you can treat yourself to a steam facial that opens up your pores for better absorption of your facial products.  It also relieves nasal and sinus congestion.  Perfect as we are coming upon the cold weather season.  The steam feels lovely and refreshing.

For those into home decor, you can also use TTO in oil reed diffusers or the fortifying air freshener, in which you can choose whatever color to put into the gelatin used in the recipe to match your home.  This can also be mixed into an air mist that will kill odors and energize you.
