Today, let us enjoy the many lovely aspects of this liquid liner...

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner
Revlon CS Liquid Liner - ingredients
I purchased Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Liner at my local Ulta for $7.99 USD.  You can find this at most drugstores everywhere.  Colorstay Liquid Liner comes in two colors, blackest black and black brown.  This liner comes in a pen and well system, both parts being a nice sturdy black plastic.  As for total amount of product, you get 0.08fl.oz/2.5ml inside.  As stated on the package, Revlon claims that this will provide all day wear, as with all of their Colorstay products.

There are two things that I absolutely love about Colorstay Liquid Liner:

1.  Formula - inky liquid that glides easily and grips into place without sucking moisture out of your lids and making them appear crepey.  very opaque black and it is MATTE!

2.  Applicator - the tip of the applicator is semi-flexible and it is built right into the handle.  this took me a minute to get used to, but helps with control and also aides in getting close to the lashline.

Swatches above show that the flexible tip can create thin or thick lines.  Also this shows how truly matte this really is!  It is such a treat to find a liquid liner that has no shine.  I have never had trouble with the tip unraveling and this will be my third bottle.  The container must be shaken to ensure true mix of liquid and it contains a bead to aid in that, much like a bottle of nail polish.  Revlon's colorstay formula dries pretty quickly, which is nice once you have mastered the applicator, but can be a hassle once it comes to fixing mistakes.  I have normal eyelids that after an 8 hour day, get a bit oily and do not have any trouble with this disappearing or smudging.  Long wearing for a normal day or working, running around = yes.

Will definitely repurchase as I have in the past.  Think this is a liner you will want to try out?
