Hey guys!  Sorry, this heat has been so oppressive and I know it is not only here in the midwest.  Now, we are getting pelted by rain, but I'm getting back into the swing after a few hiccups.  Have some new lovely items to share...and can't wait to read your blogs again!

Too hot!

Hey guys!  

I'm pretty sure by now you all know that the midwest (where I am located) is in a heat wave.  We have had our electricity blow out quite a few times already, as well as the AC.  Blogging, swatcing, taking photos has been put on the back burner until we can get the AC running fully, or this heat breaks....

Hope you guys are staying safe and cool.  Remember, drink lots of water and SUNSCREEN!  Cannot stress that enough :)

Small Haul 7/20/2011 (sephora)

Hey all!  Just wanting to share a quick haul that I got the other day.  This all started with the Makeup Forever mini set that Sephora was giving to VIB's...if you want to learn about becoming a beauty insider or VIB, go here.

Sephora Haul!

I went in to get my staple mascara, MUFE Smokey Lash.  I also added in the Dior Addict Lip Glow :)!  The mini VIB kit contained:

• mini smokey lash mascara
• mini lab shine
• mini hd powder
• mini aqua liner

All the minis are super cute and very practical.  I was hoping the bad would have been a bit bigger, but I love it all the same.  

I also had some points that I was thinking about cashing in...this is what I picked for my 500 point perk...

Hello again!  Here is the last palette in this three part series!  This is probably the most elegant of the palettes.  Same basic information as the others...purchased at loraccosmetics.com, same price, same packaging, same formulation, etc.

No flash

The top left hand corner is a light baby peach shimmer.  The top right hand corner is a light peach sheen, almost looks wet.  The bottom left hand corner is a slightly rusted brown, and the bottom right corner is dark gunmetal grey with silver shimmers.  The blush is peach toned with gold glimmer/sheen running throughout.

At the price point that I got all of these palettes at, it was a no brainer.  They contain some of the softest shadows I have ever owned, and I like that the palettes are themed.  The colors they contain do work well with one another, and aid in creating simple to fantastic looks.  I suggest you check out LORAC cosmetics!

Just a thought v 1.2...

I fell off of the train.  I did not do my regular workout this weekend.  Yeah, I feel really crummy about it.  Especially since it was too hot to cook, and decided that takeout was easier.  Ugh, why?

Back on track today.  Plan to hit the gym at some point.  I have a plan in place for rewards along the way on this fitness journey.  Every time I hit the 5lb and 10lb mark, I get to spend one of my gift cards, and of course they are all to Sephora and Ulta...ha!

Sorry, just wanted to get that off of my chest.  Back to the regularly scheduled blog.  :)

MAC HAUL!

This haul consists of Eversun Beauty Powder blush in the Style Warriors packaging, Rust Reflects (old style packaging), Follow your Fancy and New Fixation pigments (new style jars) that come out with the Stylishly Yours collection.

This is sooo beautiful.  And it wears like a dream on the skin.  It is totally an HG for me!
