Journey to 100 Empties!!! 1-5

*All Items In This Post Purchased by The Passenger Element*

I have to admit...seeing empties posts is enjoyable!  Once I took stock of the mass of products I had accumulated, there was even a bigger thrill in getting to the point where I was pairing down, using and enjoying the products I had.  Here is my first entry into empty land...

#1 - BIORE Self Heating One Minute Mask - I'm a huge fan of anything mask for the skin...lotions, potions and every notion under the sun.  This mask is easy to use and what I love the most about it is that you can feel the heat and feel it working.  I just wish there were more packets in the container.  You get 4 single use packets for between $6-7 dollars.  Not exactly exorbitant, but its drugstore, give us a few more.

#2 - MEIJER (store brand) Strengthening Nail Polish Remover - just your run of the mill polish remover.  Did not dry my perpetually ragged cuticles any further, so that was a plus.

#3 - E.L.F Shine Eraser Oil Blotting Sheets - 50 blotter sheets.  One dollar.  They work.  Enough said.

#4 - BATH AND BODY WORKS Mad About You shower gel - Foamy, rinses clean, does not add much in the way of moisture, but you do feel clean!  Contains notes of Black Current, Vanilla, Peony and Strawberry.

#5 - MAC Zoom Lash mascara - A holy grail in my book. Lengthening, thickening, and black as all hell.  Gives structure to my lashes, but never hard enough to consider them "crispy".  Never experienced any flaking, smearing, smudging.  This starts as a pretty wet formula, or at least the 2 tubes I have had were, so I let them dry out a bit and they become the perfect consistency.

What are you guys currently emptying?

Bath and Body Works Cool Coconut lipgloss

BBW Cool Coconut lipgloss - partial sun / flash

Today's quick post is on Bath and Body Works Cool Coconut lipgloss.  As BBW always does, this was released in conjunction with their summer scents collections.  These glosses can be purchased at BBW for $10.50 USD, but can combined with the buy 2, get 1 free promotion.  The gloss comes in a plastic tube with flat, doe foot applicator.  You get .2fl.oz/6ml of gloss in this tube.

Cool Coconut is an emollient gloss chock full of glitter.  The formula base itself is a really nice, balmy gloss.  It feels very cushiony, but with the addition of the glitter, it has a slighty gritty feeling too.  The nice thing about this is that it is microfine glitter...no huge chunks of glitter ending up anywhere else!

BBW Cool Coconut lg swatch - partial sun / flash
This was the one out of the three glosses for this particular range that had the most pigmented base.  On the swatch, it reads a clear bronze, whereas on lips it reads more burnished gold that is just lovely.  I did like that the base wore nicely for around 3 hours before I had to reapply.  Once the gloss wears off, you are left with glitters.  I did not find these to be drying even when the base wore off.  Although you do get that gritty feeling from the left over glitter.

I rarely purchase any of the glosses offered by Bath and Body Works, but after this purchase, I will definitely research the colors and buy again!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bath and Body Works haul - 5/3/2011

So, I was home in Indiana this weekend for 4th of July festivities.  This meant, once again, that I would make my way down to the outlets in Michigan City.  As I am on a low-buy, my awesome BF was kind enough to help me make some purchases.

I stopped at Bath and Body Works as they were having  a great sale on the Summer Vanilla's collection, as well as hand soaps (their hand soap is my ultimate fav!)

From the Summer Vanilla collection, I picked up a Lemon Vanilla body butter, body wash, and body spray!  This smells like a lemon filled bakery.  Almost like an iced loft house cookie :).  I also purchased one Kitchen Lemon Anti-Bac hand soap, and two watermelon scented summer edition soaps.

BB&W Haul :)

I love this store, but also hate the way I fall in love with scents that are either limited edition, or never make it back for another appearance!  This, along with a body spray and body wash for my boyfriend was purchased for about $20.00 USD at the outlets.  Can't beat that!
